Brief: Project involved the creation of two replicas of a a simple residential house in both Revit and ArchiCAD, utilizing each software’s basic architectural and structural modelling elements then editing the IFC settings to improve the exported outputs accuracy to the native format when it is imported in the other software. Furthermore, it explores the current effectivity and usability of the IFC schema and the efficiency in which each software explored can generate and read IFC files.
